For Sale - restored 1933 Ford V8 6 volt generator.
1933 was a year of transition. It was the first year for the fork mount (1932 used a post mount). It continued to use the unvented front and rear plates. In late 1933 the vented end plates were introduced. It was also the last year for the non-finned pulley. It continued to use a terminal post connection to the cutout (in March of 1934 the terminal post was replaced by 2 wires coming out.)
This generator has a rewound armature, which was also tested for opens, shorts and grounds. The field coils were removed, tested, stripped, re-wrapped and re-wired. It has my double-row, sealed angular contact front bearing conversion to properly handle fan thrust, new brushes, wiring, insulators, hardware and oilers. It has an original and correct refurbished Ford cutout. It has been bench tested up to 18 amps. Then set to 4-6 amps for normal daytime driving.
A rare generator for a rare car. See photos. I can email a video of it running on my test bench. Price is $350 plus shipping. USPS money order.
Thanks,
