Repro Oil Pumps... opinions????

HELLO - After taking the replacement B' engine apart I found the pump casting broken off at the block flange. I will either have to buy a used one and rebuild it or buy a reproduction and use that. Have any of you installed one of these - your opinions / more oil volume, more oil pressure. I would appreciate any feed back you might have. Thanks for your help.

In Vol 6 Issue 3 of the Model A Times we did a report on the new oil pumps. Very nice unit and is working well in the Times roadster.

Make sure the pump seats fully and flat against the block. I've seen V8 pumps in B engines break there and the cause was the pump had a nice big radius but the block didn't and the pump lacked a few thou from going all the way in.
