This early replica car was built from an early 1900’s “piano box” buggy. The electric drive unit is from a 24 volt golf cart. The wheels are 24 inch industrial. (not bicycle) The car has 2 speeds, 3 mph and 6 mph. A switch reverses direction. Power is from 2- 12 volt batteries and the car will run for up to 5 hours on a charge. There are 2 horns, the bulb horn shown and a motorized Ahooga horn. The three lamps are “Neverout” brand as used on the 1903 curved dash Oldsmobile. The overall size is 60 inches by 85 inches and can be hauled in a shortbed S-10 pick-up .I built this in 2003 and the grandkids have already outgrown it.
