3/8" ratshit with an extension for the rear axle, and an adjustable wrench for the transmixer, and a small adjustable or open end for the steering box. Standard tapered pipe threads. So no need to seal anything unless you want to. Use Permatex #2 non-hardening.
One qt of 600 w from Brattons will do the job with extra left over.
HINT:~Use a hand pump from a outboard motor lower lube oil change kit from West Marine, or Wal-Mart.~You'll need to make the fill hose longer.
~What I did was to place her on four jack stands.
~Run in gear to warm up for about 15 minutes.
~Dump the rear axle, and the transmixer, while warm. Drain for an hour. Grease her.
~Fill using the pump and long hose till overflowing out the top holes with 80/90 w
~Run up till warm again.
~Drain again.
~Refill with 600 w
~Put her back down on the ground.
~Use the qt container and the pointy spout to fill the steering box with 600 w.
~No greese. Never used it in the steering box even though the fill plug is a zerk.
~Drag a magnate through the drags to see what you can find.
I found nothing. No shiny brass either. No chunks, no problems.
Go enjoy the car. skip.
