Replace the pedal assembly in a '36 ford pickup

Hey all, I purchased a rebuilt pedal assembly for my '36 ford pickup and was getting ready to put it in. I got the old pedal assembly loose but it doesn't look like it is going to be easy to actually get it out of there and put the new one in. Has anyone does this before? I was hoping I don't have to remove the transmission to get them out but there just isn't much room down there :(

Ok I'll keep playing g with it. Do I need to disassemble the pedal assembly in any way to make it fit or does it come out in one piece after I get it loose?
