repairing some "hanger rash"

My 36 pickup has been stored for the past 25 years or so and has suffered some "hanger rash". IE minor dings, and scratches (primmer showing) in the paint. 25 years ago I painted it with "catalyzed acrylic enamel".

I need some advice on how to repair these minor dings and scratches. I have an air brush, but I no longer have any real spray equipment.

"Google" "How to touch up acrylic enamel/urethane paint" and info. like this will appear.

If you know what brand paint was initially used contact your paint supplier for info. Also, call the Tech Line to the manufacturer. I painted my car with NAPA Martin Senour catylized acrylic enamel 40 years ago and have had fairly good success with their blending agents and procedure using an air brush. Catylized enamel is very hard and difficult to soften and "feather" in.

I agree with Charlie ny, clean it, wax it, make it safe then drive it. Those scratches and dings are like the scares on our hands.
