Removing spindle inner bearing

I am working on rebuilding the front end on my A. One inner bearing came off very easily, maybe to easy as there was scoring on the spindle. Anyway, I can't get the inner bearing removed from the other side. I tried to pry it off with no luck. Could someone with experience give me some advice on how to remove the very tight bearing? BTW, the races in the hubs look pretty good and I may leave them as is, but if I need to remove them also, what is the best way to remove them from the hubs.

Thanks for any help.

I used a puller that bolted to the lug nuts. The hub/drum came off with little effort. The puller was borrowed from a local suspension shop.

Getting the hub/drums off was no problem. It is the inner bearing removal I am having trouble with.

I believe you are talking about the front wheels. The inner bearing should come off with a little persuasion. Get something behind it and pry it off. The races in the drum can be driven out with a suitable punch from the inside. If you are going to replace the bearings, you should also replace the races. Save the old races and grind down the outer circumference and use then as a tapper-inner to install the new races.

Try a bearing splitter, pushing of the end of the spindle. A B/S has a thinner cross
section than a 2 jaw-3 jaw bearing puller.

If you wind up using a hammer and punch be sure to wear eye protection. My neighbor lost his eye hammering on his wheel bearing.
