Removing parts

Can't figure why people take what would be perfectly good salvagble parts & remove them with a cutting torch & sledge hammer then send you pics trying to sell you their cut up/beat up garbage. ? Like their proud of their work what a shame!!!!!

I drove 3 hours to buy a 47 ford pickup grill. Only to find out when I got there, that they had cut it off the fenders with a cutting wheel at the very edge where the bolts are instead of removing the bolts. I couldn't see that in the pictures they posted. Talk about disappointed...sigh.

Another one that bugs me is when you go to get an electronic part and the hacker has cut the wires off so short that you can't solder another wire onto it. And you can't find new connectors easily so the part is basically junk.

Like the grinning kid proudly says "hey, I got it out..."

I looked a PU a few years back that had been completely dismantled-early 40's Ford...anyway, every fender, bed, running board bolt-etc- had been torched off and all the sheet metal in those areas was gone.

I told the guy all he had to do was just heat the nuts red, go all around the truck and then start taking the cooled ones off.
His plan was a "complete restoration".
So saving a hours worth off wreching was going to cost him (well the next guy I guess) 20 hours of repair.

Mercy some folks.
