Removing dashbord need advice 1938 Coupe

I am removing the dash to repaint it on my '38 Coupe. I have removed the two bolts and the screws along the top. I have also removed the two bolts holding the steering column to the dash. I now need to remove the front windshield regulator knob and the linkage to the choke and hand throttle. The question is how do I do remove those?? HELP!

there is a circlip in a groove in the handle on the back side of the dash. Remove the clip and the handle will pull off. I can't help with the choke/throttle linkages.
