I have decided to remove the panhard rod that I put on the car 17 years ago when I had a bump steer problem. Back then my I still had the front disc brake conversion that my grandfather had put on. The calibers were mounted to the front of the disc instead of the back and he had shortened the length of the spindles to run an early disc set up and used a wheel adapter to go 5-5.5 bolt pattern. I got rid of all that stuff when I was installing my flathead and had to get new spindles to work with the new disc brake kit. Siince removing the panhard rod I have not had one bump steer problem ( and I have tried to get it to bump).
