remove door latch 41 pick up

Barn folks
I'm trying to remove the drivers door latch and handle from my 41 pick up , I know only 7 screws, but it seem the latch arm goes through the window crank mech ??? Is there a picture on Van Pelt or any tricks.

Been awhile since I had one apart but I sorta remember the the latch slide up behind a brace in the edge of the door. Also if its on the passanger side pretty sure you have to remove the lock cylinder first. I guess its obvious the outside door handle has to be removed and so does the inside handle.

The outside handle . After you take the screws out push the latch itself in alittle and wiggle the handle as you pull out on it.

With the window rolled up the link and inside handle base will come out from behind it

Thanks Skidmarks, I felt the braces, that makes sense.

Take the inside handle screws out and push it in with window up, it will fall down then with all screws out of latch pull it out.
