Remote rod rumble seat 33 5w

Can someone tell me what the housing on the remote rod for the rumble seat on my 33 ford 5w attaches to? Right now I just have the rod that attaches to the rumble latch. It looks like the other end attaches to a housing that has a shaft for a door handle. I need to know where this housing attaches. Maybe it attaches to the side of the window box for the roll down window. Below is a pic of the rod with the housing.
Thanks

Picture of where the handle is inside; might give an idea of where it mounts.

I have the latch and the rod part of the remote rod assembly. Here is where the rod terminates.

Yes that helps. I think I’ve got the configuration figured out. I already have the remote rod and latch. I’m missing the crank housing. It looks like this aftermarket crank bracket will work, but I don’t know exactly where it connects to.

Terry,

The rod version is for '33-'34 coupes and the cable version is for '33-'34 cabriolets.

All the LHD one's that I have seen have had the handle on the passenger side so that the driver can operate it easily. The rod pulls not pushes. Would be a bit awkward to operate if it's behind the driver.

It is awkward to open, and most times it will not open.

In your photo in #8 above, the bottom of the bracket is mounted even with the lower edge of the upper portion of the two horizontal wood panels. The face of the bracket with the protruding shank for the handle should be flush with the adjacent horizontal wood panel.
