My new coupe came with a really stiff driver's-side window. I removed the regulator tonight and found the cause of the problem:

(sorry for the phone-camera quality pictures)
As you can see, the brass bushing where the shaft comes through the front of the regulator is worn, which allows the pin on the back of shaft to move around in the hole on the back of the regulator. This means that the rear of the shaft won't stay seated and the shaft itself isn't always perfectly perpendicular to the regulator body. When I press the shaft firmly into the regulator, it turns easily. When it's in the door, not so much.
I can't see any way to fix this, off hand. I can't find a replacement bushing on-line and even if I could I'm not sure that the worn rear hole wouldn't still be a problem. I've read nothing but bad about the reproduction regulators, so I'm wary of just buying a new re-pop part.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix this or where to get a good replacement?
