Regular Gas Prices around the nation...

The sad parts is there is enough oil on shore in the US to supply the world for 2040 years at the present rate of consumption. To compete in the world market we need low energy prices. We have high energy prices because the government wants high energy prices.

Gas in Rapid City, SD was $2.89 today.
 
If one was to remove the TAX here in N.Y. [Fed., State, county ,city or town] that adds up to $1.80 per gallon... Leaving gas at $1.78 per ... So don't expect gas to come down soon...sturgis 39 you are right . government wants high energy prices. Here cig. are $10.50 per pack..I don't smoke but there's a $6.00 per pack of tax.
 
Gas in my town in the seacoast area of N.H.was about $3.25 last week.This morning I noticed it was mostly below $3.It is becoming a real problem for some guys on the road buying diesel.The ATM's only let them take out $300.per day.There are a LOT of guys on the road that actually pay for their fuel on the spot.On the truck I ran in the early 80's I carried nearly 500 gallons on the horse,and another 150 on the wagon for the reefer.Today that truck would soak up $2100.at a fuel stop.I thought that they could no longer charge more for fuel if bought with a card,but they seem to have found a way around it.They have a posted set price,but if you pay cash for fuel they will give you a discount.So,the diesel boys are paying cash when they can get 20-30 cents off.

One of the last INK makers[in the U.S.,, North White Plains N.Y.] were bought up by a Japan company.I believe now that all ink comes from Japan...
