My question is does anybody know of a place that will flash coat head light reflectors. Im from northern Indiana. Any help would be great, mine si all origonal parts.

Definately go with silver. Some people nickel or chrome them and they are not nearly as good as silver.

I am having some done at this time. I have a very good local shop that does restoration work and replating of silver household items but he has been doing our reflectors for more then 40 years and understands what we are after.

I agree with CWPASADENA. Go with silver plating. Chrome and nickle won't throw a beam much further than the front of the car.

Call some local shops that do chrome and ask them where to go for silver. As said before, don't use chrome or nickle (except as a base for aluminum). Consider aluminum plating from UVIRA (541) 474-5050 (see archives for comments). Avoid the temptation to buy new reproduction reflectors as some of them have the wrong shape.
