I wonder what the demographics are of the people trying to call. Maybe Victor is focusing on his standard offerings, and online orders are keeping him as busy as he wants to be.
Personally, I prefer going online, selecting what I need, placing the order, and moving on with life. I actually find it frustrating when a seller doesn’t have an online ordering option. If there were another vendor offering the same quality with a good online presence, I’d probably buy from them instead.
I also like having detailed descriptions and photos so I know exactly what I’m getting. Twice now I’ve ordered fuel pump rebuild kits from older vendors with little or no online presence, and I’ve been disappointed with what was actually included. I had to call to place the orders and assumed the kits would be comparable to the well-advertised kits sold online. They weren’t. Good online descriptions and pictures set expectations and help avoid surprises.
