red's headers

I have a 50-f3 that is going slowly getting in some kind of order. I read the raves about red's headers and his site says they only fit f1 and no f2 or larger trucks. is the steering box different in the f2 and up? that seems to be the only issue I can think of. the previous owner installed center dump headers and had to bash in the tube to get the drivers side on.

AFAIK the headers fit all the trucks, it's the extension pieces that only fit F-1's. The trans crossmembers are different on the bigger trucks and the extensions will hit the bigger crossmembers. I know of several F-2's and F-3's that are using their headers, with custom-made extensions.
