Time is coming to spend some money on glass. Any heroes or villains out there selling it? ('32 Tudor- need just a windshield now, but will eventually need it all.)
I have had all of my flat glass (all except the rear window on my '47) cut at the local glass shop. That includes the windshield. Just take in the broken piece to use as a pattern and they'll do it. Make sure they polish the edges. At least as cheap as any other supplier.
The vintage glassman, Greg Roberts, Ok. 405-222-8191 He has glass that will fit, I'm tired of not fitting right and unsanded edges etc. I've gone to all the glass places in St. Joe, Mo.
I used Sanders Glass (http://www.sandersreproglass.com/) on my 40 Tonner. They matched my original glass including the location of the date "bugs" perfectly.
I agree with the boy's! Sanders Reproduction Glass is the way to go. EXCELLENT HANDS DOWN! I purchased from him twice and very happy with the quality and service. You can find his ad in the V8 Times. Don
I used Vintage Glass in Tolland, CT for my 34 dump. He had the correct patterns as I had no glass and everything fit great. He can tell you if he has the patterns for your car.
