This rebuilt flathead is as good as it gets!
I had this engine rebuilt in 2019 as a spare for my 1941 Ford Woodie. The engine was rebuilt by Will Mendeiros owner of the Flathead Shop in San Jose. The engine was bored to standard Mercury specs of 3-3/16 and has the following work performed:
-Sonic Tested
-Casting Sand Removed in Water Ports
-4" Mercury Crankshaft
-49-53 Ford Camshaft
-Adjustable lifters
-Ported, Polished and Balanced
-Fort Wayne Rebuilt Clutch Assembly
-Skip Haney Coil and Water Pumps
-Charlie Swindler rebuilt Carb, Distributor and Fuel Pump
-80 lb Oil Pump
