Ken,
Good luck & as I told you it's the best thing I have ever done ( out side of marrying Lee )
But you " HAVE TO " do all the therapy that they ask of you. YOU WILL BE THE BENEFICIARY OF THE OUT COME

Good luck Ken and a speedy recovery. I've an extra cane if you need one haha

Probably having my hip replaced (again) Oct/Nov. Ball and socket flaking, 2 pseudo tumors AND it's been recalled.

Best of luck Ken and please have a speedy recovery; otherwise, you will drive your wife crazy. Enjoy that box of goodies I brought you, oh I know some of it is junk but some of it is absolute treasure. Your assignment is to determine which is which... but please enjoy the process my friend. Best wishes, Toby

Ken...Do you test your fuel pumps, and if so, how do you test? DD
I do but not with gas. Work the lever up an down by hand there will be suction on the inlet and air pushed out the outlet, simplist way.. Some post ofices will not ship if they smell gasoline from the box. LOL. Its tough to get it all out if you wet test. ken ct.

Hey Ken, I have a couple of questions about your rebuilt carburetors. Do you always replace the throttle shaft and bushings or is it a case by case things? What style needle and seat do you use? What testing do you do before you ship your carburetors out?

Thanks, Tom

Typical of all his work ............The only thing he can tell you from this pitiful test is that it "sucks" =like all his work !!

Well, I thought this thread had a good start by folks wishing a fellow Barner a speedy recovery on his surgery. I don't see why some have to make such sour comments.
So, Ken, hope you are up and about soon and don't forget to follow Bill W's advice for therapy.

John

If there not sloppy they stay, sloppy ones i replace the shaft or find a better base. New shaft would add like $50 to the price of a rebuild, people wont pay it. I use NOS ford script steel needle an brass seat. Also use leather accelerator pumps,NO rubber ones. ken ct.
