Rebuild A 32 Ford Steering Box

How about in MN ? Lares Corporation does.Google to get their info. When I checked with them last year for a friend here it was close to $500.

On a chance, I ordered some Pen-Rite steering box lubricant from down under. It doesn't leak and seems to have made my '51 steer easier.

It is very easy to add a real lip seal. Mask off the bushing and fill the surround with JB Weld. Machine a 1/8 by 1/8 pocket for a 1/8 by 1/8 by 1 1/8 seal. No metal needs to be removed.
I used real gear lube and never had a drop of oil come out.
The steering boxes must be adjusted on the car.
The eccentric adjustment is for centering the steering wheel as the drag link has no adjustment
Moving the eccentric changes the gear engagement. It is a frustrating process.
