Rear wheel oil seal

Use a sharp pick and a small screwdriver to work the retainer clip out.
Place a piece of cardboard or carpet on the floor.
Drop the drum flat facing down from a foot or so. May have to repeat several times.
The mass of the wheel bearing will push the seal out.

1crosscut I just replaced my seals after repacking the Rear Bearings! I was unable to do it your way after several try's, I however have a Crow Bar that did the trick although I found I had the hit the Crow Bar at the end the get the job done!

Some just don’t want to come out. At times I’ve had to give a bit more of a push downwards instead of just dropping them to get things moving.

Mine were like that. I ended up with a L shaped bar the long side went through the axle hole and the short side got in behind the seal to bash it out.
When I put the new ones in I drove them just past the snap ring groove. I seated the snap ring and the did the drum drop to seat the seal against the snap ring.
