Rear wheel bearings

Does anyone have any experience with rear wheel bearings, the open ones at the brake drum. I must replace mine in my '34 Roadster and have heard that some of the ones being sold are not properly heat treated. Is there a supplier that stocks a known good supply??

In my opinion, you are always better off finding good used rear wheel bearings made as OEM, than any of the new ones.
