Rear suspension question

50 model Ford. 8ba with three speed. Have had a shudder when taking off since I got the car. Had a. Ew pressure plate, clutch disk, throw out bearing and pilot bearing put in Did the same thing. Come to find out the guy didn't have the flywheel surfaces.
Took it to a friend of mine. He took it apart. I took the flywheel and had it surfaced, he put it all back together. It is 80 per better than it was but there is still some shudder.
I was wondering if there is anything in the rear suspension that could contribute to it.
Reason I ask is I had the king pins replaced.while I was at the shop one of the guys moved the car to the alignment rack. I was standing beside the car. When he eased out on the clutch I could see movement in the rear end forward and backwards a little. Don't know if the clutch could have caused that.
I think I may take it back to the shop and have them check the rear suspension.
I hate this chatter or shudder. I like to ease off on the clutch when I take off. Just wondering about the rear suspension.

I think he has changed the motor mounts, according to earlier posts. I think that checking the suspension bushings in the rear might be next.

Have not taken the mounts out and inspected them but I am pretty sure they are good.
I have raised the hood and got my friend watch the motor for any unusual move but it looked good.
We have a real good shop here in town. I wouldn't really know what or how to check it. Probably just take it to them.
I forgot, the car sits a little lower on one side.

If it’s not sitting level then you may be right. Like Denny said, you could have an issue with the suspension………Mark

If you haven't already (and it's not clear), you should replace the motor and transmission mounts. A visual inspection just isn't enough. I had clutch chatter in my '51 that a resurfaced flywheel and new clutch didn't cure; new motor and transmission mounts did.

Last November on one of his many threads about chatter, I suggested he replace the motor and transmission mounts. He said he wasn’t sure how to tell, but they look good. Then he started replacing other parts.

I think replacing the mounts would have been the easiest move, and probably due anyway if they are original. He thinks differently than I do.

I have new mounts. I will get them changed. I know they aren't original and look pretty new but I guess that doesn't mean they are good.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Appreciate it.

Oh yes, words of experience :-)
