Rear Spring U bolts

The threads on one U bolt on the rear spring of my 28 tudor sedan is stripped. Question is, how do I replace the bolts without cutting a hole in the floor pan? Cutting a hole is no problem, just curious how other barners would do it.

Of course the correct way would be to remove all the bolts through the body blocks and jack up the body in the rear. This would entail unbolting and removing the rear fenders and the bolts to the rear bumper vertical supports. I don't think it is a real hard job, but it would take an afternoon to do. I think you would only need to jack up the body about 2" or 3", as the U bolts will slide out at a slight angle.
