hi uall, new to the ford barn,i have some rare and unique rear split bumpers off a 40 ford.i reserched these bumpers and am told they were on the rear of 40 ford hearses and also offered on regular sedan deliveries not sure if from the factory or dealer option the hearses were made by the haney co (not sure of spelling sounds haynee). a coach builder.they sometimes used packard frames because of the ovious weight issues i am not sure if they were throu ford or haney.they are not a one piece bumper cut in two the contour and taper at both ends are mirror images as the stock one piece, i would guess made at the same foundry bob drakes varified there existence but have never seen a pair,dennis carpenter (vince )very helpful and knowlegable on the subject has only seen a pair a few times over the years i did run them on the front of a 40 standard i had and they cleaned up the front end and looked great everyone wanted to know where i got them. i am thinking of selling them but not sure of a price range any help?
