I'm learning as I go about old car restoration. I've found out the hard way that there are many significant differences between my one ton truck and the more common half tons. Brake drums are very different and scarce and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement for the right front drum which I destroyed during disassembly. Another part that I REALLY need is a rear rear spring mount. The rear spring assembly has a front mount and a rear mount that differ in heights. Apparently, a previous owner lost/broke one of the rear mounts and replaced it with a front one which significantly throws off the geometry of the frame. SO I need to track down a donor one ton from which I can scavenge a spring hanger and brake drum. Any leads out there?
