rear motor mount block loose under Retainer plate

29 coupe. removed and replaced engine/transmission,replaced float a motor pads all around and new spring set in front mount (original). The rear motormount block is very loose. any suggestgion why or how to remedy?

If you are asking about the Float A Motor rear mount where it rest on the crossmember, the only things I can think of is either the front mount is tightened too much, pulling the trans up or the FAM is not tightened enough.
 
it is the rear FAM mount which rests on the frame. I've loosened the front mount (original yoke). There is about 1/8 inch between the plate and the 1X1X3 (approximately) inch rubber block. The center mounts are tightened to a slight squeeze of the donuts. I'm told the center mounts will settle. The old Blocks were about 1/4 inch narrower than the new blocks.
