Rear Mechaanical Backing Plate Question

I'm continuing to concentrate on anything mechanical, working my way from the rear of my '31 SW Sedan towards the front of the car.

I have a rear brake backing plate installed mounting question:

Charlie, the adjustment should both be facing the rear of the car. How are the control levers connected to the brake rods?

Sounds like at some point your backing plate got rotated?

The adjustment is too the rear on anything I have ever seen on the rear backing plate. Again how did the rods hook up?

I think you will be surprised how well the brakes work after you get them both in the correct position!
