Rear main leak

I have a leak at the rear main. I think its leaking from the top of the rear main bolt. Can I get a steady drip from this? It doesn't look like the rear main seal is leaking, oil is running down from the left side of the engine above the bearing. I also found something on the bottom of one piston below the piston pin, looks like the pin clip pushed through. So is it time to tear it down?

That looks like a catastrophic failure about to happen. That motor needs to come apart, before it takes itself apart

It would be good information to have the details on this situation. Haven't seen/heard of that priorly . What brand piston, if you know ?

That is a strange picture. Any chance that it's babbit stuck to the wrist pin area?
Or is actually a hole as it appears?

Yes, you want to put silicone sealer around the heads of the rear main bolts.

I just noticed that it looks like someone installed cylinder liners and they stick past the block bore, instead of being locked by a bottom ledge. I sure hope they don't slip down someday.

sorry, but yea it's time. :(

Its a 30 truck with a B engine. Its my moms, its been setting for 15 yrs. It runs ok just had that oil leak. Something was forced out of the piston under the wrist pin. There was some metal in the pan I think is babbit, its not magnetic.
