what ford rear end can i look for i nead one thats 58/60 inchs wide at the backing plates car or pickup would like to retain the 51/2 bolt patern want to get this car to the bricks show 3rd week of aug
 
How much room do you have to play with? 70's Ford trucks are about 56" and are 5 on 51/2 bolt pattern.
 
thanks i have a 70s rear now its 55inchs i have a 34 convert that i zed the frame 6 inchs in rear 5 inchs in frount body chanelled 6 inch nead room for tires to clear body with the rims i want to use 9 spoke i may go a GM with adaperts the car is dri lake style 392 hemi 28 inchs ground to top of doors any outher helpers out there
