rear end question

Inspect the earlier style center section for cracks at the pinion bearing race flange. The later version is re-inforced as the early one is prone to cracks. Other than that it should not be a problem. Also as pointed out on Marco's website there was a slight depth change for the carrier bearing races as far as the axle hsg bells. The swap will work fine. If you are using to use the complete rear end assembly, the early 1928 rear ends had a higher gear ratio of 3.70 to 1 verses 3.78 for the later models
