Rear Door Glass Installation

Today I decided to put the new glass in the rear doors of my 35 fordor only to see that it's not going to be as easy as I hoped. The doors have new felt channels. I tried putting the glass in the door but because of the shape of the door, I couldn't get the glass horizontal. The only thing that i see to do is remove the channel, put in the glass, reinstall the channel and then try to raise the glass into the channel. Is there a better way?

Bob, another Barner sent me some written detailed procedures for replacing door glass in '35-'36 Fords. There should be instructions for rear door glass on Fordor sedans. I am not at home right now or I would access this on my computer and email you a copy. Could do this tomorrow when I get back home if you pm me your email address.
I recently replaced the drivers side front door glass in my '35 fordor, but have not done a rear door yet. There must be a way to do this with the new channels in place.
