Rear bumper stone deflector seals

I have one but don't have any idea how it is supposed to mount. It has 6 clips. Anyone have a picture. The catalogs do not show how it mounts.

I will look tomorrow at my 54 and try to shoot some pics if I can get a good shot... If I remember correctly, there were some special clips that were used. Kind of hard to find

Here are ILL's from the MPC -

501112

501113

501114

17844 Were Not Cataloged - 1959 MPC

Maybe if you print out the ILL's they will be more readable.

Hopefully, Paul's photos will be more detailed.

I have the catalog. I already said it isn't pictured on how they mount.

Well, excuse the hell out of me.

You have a FORD PARTS MANUAL then?

A catalog is something from a vendor.

This will be the last time I try and help someone. Waste of time and band width.

Got 2 pics (rest didn't come out good. First, the clips can go anywhere on the body flange. There should be 4 as far as I know. Besides the clips, there are six screws that hold the rubber to the body. Two on each end - there should be holes in the body flange - the most outboard one is where the flange is right under where the body sticks out for the the tail light, the other a little inboard from that. The other two are located on both sides of the bracket that holds the license plate light. If I remember correctly, when installing, hold the rubber straight up or at an angle and attach the rubber to the flange then bend it down when installing the bumper. Hope this helps.

The cover says 1949-1959 Ford car parts and accessories text catalog. It is from the Ford publishing company, not a vendor. I appreciate the effort.

Got it installed so on to the next project. How to duplicate the little stainless or nickel rivets in the tail light housing. I had to drill them out to get them rechromed. Yes, I did mask and paint the new chrome.
