Rear bumper for 39 Ford Pickup

My 1939 Ford Pickup did not have a rear bumper. I wanted to know what might work for a rear bumper and the brackets that I would need to fit it to my frame. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Some pictures of my 41. Just using one bracket on each side. shortened. Keeps the bumper in nice and tight. Bumper is the same as the front one. Drake has both bumpers and brackets.

My '39 was originally a stake body and was converted to pickup style by a previous owner. The rear bumper is very close to the body and the brackets appear to be of original design. What shold be the distance from the center of the bumper to the outer edge of the tailgate? I have about 2".

Even though it's not period correct I like the 34-36 bumpers on the rear.

If you need the irons let us know, Im sure each of us has a set of old irons, you can modify them, its rough cause they're hardened.
