Rear Bumper Brackets on a 36, is there a rubber grommet that goes between bracket and car body, cant see any offered on Drakes ???

No rubber or gasket between bracket and body on an original car but you may want to place a small piece of body webbing, it will never be seen.

I cut a piece of rubber body webbing & sized it to not be noticed. Something made me feel good knowing it is on there. Did the same at each bolt on my spare tire mount to body

A trick used by some hot rodders (usually on 1933-34) is to cut a metal sleeve to just oversize of the body thickness to put between the rear bumper bracket and the inner frame bracket. Then a rubber grommet is made (id larger than the sleeve) with just enough thickness to be slightly compressed when the bumper bracket bolt is fully tightened.

This avoids any stress on the body and helps prevent body and or paint cracking.
