Rear brake lever position ?

Do the rear brake levers have a "home position" similar to the fronts (leaning slightly forward), when the rods are disconnected ?

My front brakes seem to be doing all the work, and the turn-buckles are bottomed-out on the rear brake rods (can't take-out any more slack )...

I definitely do not have the desired 60 / 40 Rear / Front brake bias...

Wondering if the rear rods (originals) have "Stretched", or is stuff is worn-out inside the rear brakes ( have not had the drums off).

Thanks,

SC Frank

The brake rods should start out the same length, but, will not be when adjustment is finished.. The front arm should be forward and the rear arm should be at least vertical if not rearward slightly.. I set the adjusting wedge on each wheel, then use a brake board to adjust the brake rod length..
