Pressed in my 7 tooth upper steering box shaft bushing with a very long threaded rod. Of course steering wheel shaft is just a whisker too fat to slide through more than four or five inches. The old bushing allows my spindle reamer and steering shaft to both pass through easily with plenty of clearance. The new bushing allows the spindle reamer to enter, but not pass through. Can I use my Model A spindle bolt reamer to ream my upper bushing? If so, are there any tricks to make sure the reamer is aligned properly so the steering shaft doesn't bind because the reaming wasn't centered?
