Can anyone tell me the proper way to re-install the main bearing cap studs in a 59A block? Should I use anti-seize, Loctite or thread sealant? Are the studs supposed to be tightened to a certain torque? Any other tips?
Put them in just barely tight, you'll torque the caps later (yes there's a specific torque- don't remember what it is) and safety wire them... No reason for Loctite.
