Up for sale: My 1951 Ford Crestliner Tudor Sedan, $9,000 OBO
If you're interested shoot me a PM. Price is negotiable!
With only 9K made this car is a rare head turner! Black and white was never an option on this car but the two tone and vinyl roof were factory on the Crestliner. The one year only trim is straight and clean and really stands out against the black and white paint.
This car has the original Flathead 239 with aluminum Edmond's heads. It runs strong and starts quickly; it will idle for an hour and stays cool. It has been converted to 12 volt; it cranks quickly and charges well. The three on the tree is tight and shifts great while the flathead rumbles through he straight pipes. The Crestliner has just over 93,000 miles on the odometer and it is wearing the white wall radials you see in the pictures.
The body is clean and pretty straight with some bodywork; the rockers may have been replaced at some point. The paint is in good condition; the floors are mostly solid. The trunk handle has been shaved and is now cable operated, the deck lid will need a respray.
Original seats covered some years ago and still in pretty good condition. Headliner has one small hole. Car comes with two seat belts in the front and one in the middle of the rear seat (baby's car seat) all mounted with Juliano's Safety Belt Anchors.
If you have any questions or would like more pictures please PM me.
Chick Magnet!
Right when I brought her home; a little dusty!
Tim (I_be_moose here on the HAMB)laying down some stripes on the deck lid.
Dash Shot, door panel was off for new window install, back on now.
A couple of underhood shots by request:
