The time is not a problem for me. I plan ahead, call, turn on the speaker phone and check my mail, fordbarn, Ahooga, EFV8 site and HAMB. Most places answer before I am finished. With the right mindset it is actually relaxing. Also works well when calling the IRS and DMV.Tried to place order with Mac... Recorded message says approximent time to pick up phone..16 minutes
Who's got time for that!?
Called Concours parts..no answere no recording nothing. Errrr

Why use the phone? You can order anything they have online by going to their website. I can't remember the last time I ordered something and used the phone. You obviously have a computer.
Always check the status of something on Drake's website to see if it is "out of stock" before you order. He isn't called "Back order Bob" for nothing.
Agree with you Ralph! Actually, I do both. If what I is need is pretty straight forward, I order it on line. On the other hand, there's no substitute for a chance to talk with Mac VP, or Joe or Kyle at C&G...those guys have forgotten more Ford information than I'll every acquire!!I don’t know, I like to talk to a real person when ordering anything, but that’s just me.
same here. plus I won't ever put any credit card on the computer.I don’t know, I like to talk to a real person when ordering anything, but that’s just me.
I stopped ordering parts from macs-- i use joes-their catalog is only up to 48 though
