Radio Repair

Hi-
I know it's a topic that has been discussed before, but the "PM Al Corbin" solution that's often mentioned doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone have other contact info. for Al or an alternative source of repair? I have also tried an AOL.com email address with no success. Radio is from a 39 sedan. It worked before sitting idle for many years.

Thanks, Tom

Try looking through his past posts to see if you can maybe find his phone number. I looked through a few and found this email address for him. tslfwb@aol.com Give that a try to email him. He may not be coming on the forum that much to get his PM's.

Those old vibrators and wax capacitors that were used back then were somewhat life limited even if kept inside a relatively dry storage area. I haven't tried this source but it may have possibilities for you. www.turnswitch.com/

Its an alternative anyway.
