Please take a look at my radiator... Its for the 32 but look at the 2nd picture and the difference between the height of the outlets on the radiator VS the water pumps..

I'd find 2 nice right angle bend rubber hoses for both sides and sleeve it with pipe inbetween. Tight but doable.

Another possibility is to right-angle the necks coming out the bottom, perhaps using the upper necks below, lower necks above? Just some thoughts here to get you thinking outside the box a bit .... ....

does it appear to be the right radiator? It is pretty rough and I dont think I am going to use it in the long run.. But will a new one be the same setup?

The front of the motor needs to be raised so the outlets line up ,the later pumps mount the motor lower than the 32 mounts,it is about 1 1/4". If you line up where the crank is in relationship to the crossmember you will se the diff. It looks like someone changed the frame mounts, the 32 mounts are in front of the motor and narrower than the ones on your frame. John

I bought a set of spacers on ebay - forget now who the vendor was - for the purpose of raising later flathead motors up about the amount that you need. These are real heavy duty c-shaped spacers and I do see them on ebay from time to time. I could get you pics of mine if you like.

The original '32 motor had simple outlets on the front of the block that would have lined up with the inlets on the rad. As 33cabriolet pointed out, you have a later pump-in-block motor and have discovered what many find: they don't line up. There is a company, the name of which escapes me, that make cast aluminium Z-shaped pipes to solve this problem.

Well herein lies the problem..(or opportunity as my boss calls it)..

If I raise the engine any more I am up against the firewall.. ARRG

But at the same time I am having issues clearing the steering box with my manifolds, so if I do raise it up the exhaust will likely clear..

I really dont want to start cutting up the car..

if you contact "MEC"- model engineering company, they will have the cast aluminum outlets to take care of the situation that you have. hope this helps. they are also known has "Just 32`s".

Flathead jack has a off set boxes with rounded ends with spouts that might work. I thought about using them on my High Boy A. I fornd pre formed rubber hoses at the auto store. Good luck Lyle.

You can raise it some and not have to modify the firewall. It's not perfectly straight but it has worked well for many years.

Get your plumber to make a couple of "Z" (for the lack of a better term)
shaped pieces of copper tube then a couple of pieces of straight radiator hose
and you're away.
I had to do the same thing with an 8ba in mt 34 ( I am a Plumber )
I would make you a pair but I am in New Zealand.
