When I bought my '35 it had no motor or radiator, procure new radiator from the Brass Works. Just starting to install and am trying to figure out the deal with the spring loade under support.
- It looks like the springs and rubber pads go between the lowest radiator support features (which have no mounting holes) and the frame mounts on the car with mounting holes.
-Then I think to get the shock absorbing aspect to work the bolt will go through the frame mounts through the spring with the head of the bolt on the rubber pad against the bottom of radiator? Two of the holes on the body lined up perfectly before mounting the spring feature so I assumed they were for the mid way up side mounts on the radiator?
-With the springs and the pads under the radiator seems very high and the midway side mount radiator bracket won't line up? too high for body holes midway up on radiator sides.
Am I missing something, just doesn't look right or sturdy enough nor does it make sense that it pushes the midway brackets on the radiator too high to use?
