Thanks guys for the advice, i got the emblem off the shell, used the heat gun and it came off in 2 pieces . The press fit part of the emblem was n. G. So i was able to make the press part out of a metal bottle cap and solder it in place . Now i can finish the top metal plate ,paint and reassemble. Thanks the hooch
