Radiator question

I would fill it up till I saw it.

Water pump is the new leakless from Snyders. So whatever that is, is what it is.

It had a thermostat. in which I removed the center but left the housing in to try and alleviate over heats on the road. An old timer on the road told me that would be ok to help slow the water down. I haven't taken it fully out yet.

I'm just wondering about the tube and what the water loss symptom is. Do you continually lose water? If so I would not bend mine because as I said, it finds its level and then stays there.

Bending tubing : anneal the copper or brass ( google is your friend ) stick a bending spring into the tube ( again google is your friend )

I think that Sconners has more issues than some coolant flow from the overflow tube ?! His coolant looks like pond water , the level is higher than recommended , I would suggest a good cleaning with store bought coolant cleaner ( Presstone cleaner is my go to, follow the manufacturer instructions ). !!

Picked up some Evaporust Thermocure and plan on using that. I see that it's safe to run that in your car for a few days to really let it work and then drain, flush and add 50/50.

I think it was Bill Williamson (RIP), a well respected member here a few years ago who used to tell people with this issue to put a roofing nail in the top of the tube.

A roofing nail, what an easy fix. I like adding a piece of tubing as well (I would not take a chance bending the tube myself). Maybe do both tube and nail.
