Hi
The project I'm working on is a 1930 Ford 2dr Sedan with an 8BA (1949-53 Flathead) installed.

I'm having trouble with the fan setup (clearance) and trying to find a radiator with about a 2" core that will work for this setup. Has anyone out there done this conversion with success?. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

You might try posting this on the HAQMB or the early V8 section of The BARN. Many fellows have used mustang radiators when swapping into model A's, switching inlets/outlets.

Thanks for the responses. I tried (twice) on the HAMB site but never got any responses. I'll maybe try again
Thanks

Have you tried making new holes in the radiator mounting tabs and pushing the radiator forward?

Do you have the 8BA as far back as you can get it to the firewall?

Might have to buy a 65 Mustang radiator and then have it modified. Also last year at Chickasha a person bought my 46 Ford truck radiator claimong it would fit in the Model A radiator shell. It looked too wide to me, but he may be right. Rod
