I have tried and tried to get my new radiator from "leaking under the cap" or "overheating". I even removed the thermostat in the upper hose like suggested.
There is no Baffle Plate in the upper tank of the radiator as I can see the tubes.
I seems that it may just be leaking under the cap when the car hits bumps. I have the repro Quail cap and I have replaced the O-Rings. I also just received the Water Temp Gauge so I will know soon if it is boiling.
BUT, is it a good idea to get a Baffle Plate installed in the radiator. Also what does one look like? Can you still see the core tubes somehow?
Puzzled....!!!
