I am doing a brake job on my A. I am reusing some of the good brake shoes. Now my questions 1. On the brake shoes both ends of the shoes are the same ??. Reason I ask that is one end of some shoes where the rollers are ( metal } are a little ruff. So I thought I would switch ends with the rollers. 2 Is it ok to reuse brake shoes as long as they are thick enough ? I have bought all new rollers, pins, etc.3 How freely should rollers turn when pined to brake shoes ? I have done many brake jobs on 55 and up Chevs. Corvettes and early Mustangs but never on a A. I also have Les Andrews Model A repair manuals and have read brake section many times. Thanks in advance for any and all Help.
