Question on Parts

I have a crank shaft and cam shaft for an early Ford V8. What is a fair asking price for these? They are spare parts that I had left over.

Not much I would guess as almost all of us have them laying around. Crank would depend on the undersize and ware. Cam most likely core value. Not much help, but just don't really have much idea. It would also depend if someone needed them. There should be maybe 10 good cranks and/or cams for every good block, maybe even more. I have some that anyone could have if they would haul them off!

Take them to a shop and have them measured. Or find a friend with a micrometer or rent/borrow one. You are going to need this information when you try to sell them. The price is between scrap iron and a couple of hundred bucks.
